The KimTech® #53358 filtering facepiece respirators are constructed with two layers of electro-static treated melt-blown filters that help attract and capture dust and other particles in the air making sure that it does not come in contact with the mouth, eyes, or the nose of the wearer for additional protection. This respirator is NIOSH-certified as an N95 particulate filter respirator, demonstrating that it provides a minimum 95% filtration efficiency of very fine (0.3 micron) particles, TAA-compliant and are listed on the CDC's NIOSH-Approved N95 Particulate Filtering Facepiece Respirator list which can be viewed here.
